Let customers speak for us
from 30 reviewsI am so delighted with my artful piece of history. Thank you for creating such a beautiful piece of history for us to keep. Everything was perfect in my purchasing of this piece.
I bought this as a keepsake for my daughter and her family. It will adorn their tree for a long time.
And thanks for getting it to us in time for Christmas.
Thank you so much for these wonderful ornaments. My parents (who have a strong connection to Kingston) loved it! Beautifully made, and professionally presented - I'm delighted with this product.
Made with so much love and such a great keepsake
I am delighted to have the heart shaped ornament for the old bridge. Excellent workmanship on a great idea. I admire the initiative of the family that brought this project to life.
I had to wait for my ornament because of the mail strike. It was with the wait to have a piece of my childhood in Kingston at home in another city.
My Mom, was born and raised in Barriefield. When my dad was on military manoeuvers my mom and I would stay with her parents, Ithel and William Norris. They would frequently take me to Kingston and we would walk across the east and then the west bridge and then the Bascule (lift) bridge. My Grandfather would tell me to “hang onto his hand so I wouldn’t fall through.”
Years later, I would still remember him saying it when we would go to town.
At night on a hot summer evenings I would be lulled to sleep by the droning sounds of the tires of vehicles driving across the expanded metal of all three bridges.
When we saw that you were making ornaments from the scrap from the bridge I just had to get a couple pieces so that, I would have a keepsake from MY CHILDHOOD.
Thank You,
Mrs. Boots Stewart

I purchased two ornaments: one for my wife and one for my sister-in-law They both have deep ties to Kingston and had crossed the bridge countless times throughout their lives. I am a relatively recent Kingston transplant. I remember driving over the bridge for the first time and my wife (then girlfriend) excitedly telling me about the noise it made and how it brought her back to her childhood. We were very sad to see the bridge go, but thrilled that an effort was being made to allow people to retain a small physical representation of their memories. Both were thrilled with their gifts and I look forward to being able to tell the story for those unfamiliar for years to come.
Such a great concept and experience. Will invoke the tune of the bridge.
It’s just a great memento from the past!
I’m delighted with my ornament. I plan to leave it on display all year. Having a piece of history from the singing bridge means alot to me personally. I’m in my seventies and as a small child I remember coming from our family farm to visit friends in Kingston and two highlights were crossing the bridge and going to S&R to ride the elevator. My 80 year old brother in White Rock B.C. just this week saw and sent me an article from CBC news about your business and he said he also remembered crossing the bridge as a youngster. Thank you for preserving history!
Thank you for the opportunity to own a part of Kingston's and my history with the Causeway bridge. Thank you again.
