How The Kingston Causeway ornaments came to be.

"Someone needs to save some bridge pieces...."
DONATE TO RKY CAMPHi! I'm Steph.
Like many of you reading this, I am a longtime resident of Kingston, Ontario. When the demolition of The Causeway was announced, I instantly thought, " Someone needs to save some of the bridge pieces for the people of Kingston". So, that is what I did.
Through a series of (transparent) communications, I was able to help secure some scrap metal from The Causeway and we began making ornaments and gifts from the bridge.
With the help of a talented engineer, and some townie grit, we began learning the art of metal work, and started handcrafting ornaments and gifts to share with the residents of Kingston.
You may never hear the warm hum of "The Singing Bridge" again, but we do hope these small mementos warm your heart with the memories The Kingston Causeway brought to you and your family.
10% of the net proceeds will be donated to RKY CAMP to help send kids to camp.
